Is this the cutest idea ever for a Valentine’s photo card? I love it, and my big girl is thrilled that she gets to give her friends candy this year.

This idea came from 24-7-365 via Lauren Makes via Giverslog.  Phew.  How’s that for full attribution?  I really love Giverslog, by the way.  Do you guys ever read that blog?  It’s full of great idea for sweet and thoughtful gifts.

Is anyone else making homemade Valentine’s with their kids this year?  Do you have any great ideas for using photos in Valentines?  Please share!

That is the cutest thing Ever! Although I’m one of “those moms” that goes to Target and buys the Nerds attached to the little cards:) I do have a question though…is that valentine mounted? That’s really neat how it’s on that little easel! Did you mount it yourself or is it just cardstock paper? I really like the look of that~

I have to admit that I had backup Target Valentines on hand just in case!

I actually printed that on Epson photo paper on my new Artisan 800! I hold you responsible for that purchase, by the way. The easel is a plate stand that I use for decoration in the dining room. Mounting it is a good idea, but beyond my capabilities before the class party tomorrow! I fully expect these Valentines to get wrinkled and creased when they get stuck in the boxes at school.

I’m a little late with my post on the Valentines subject, but yes, my daughter loves taking personalized valentines to her friends. This was our 3rd year to do it. She’s now 11 so the valentines card parties are about to end. :( However, this card idea is really great with the arm extended out! Love that! We usually just have my daughter’s cards printed at walmart each year. She is usually holder a big heart or something in her picture. I don’t have an example with me at the moment. Thanks for sharing the idea!
