There are a few things to keep in mind to improve sharpness in an image:
- If one of the methods below doesn’t work, try another, or even a combination of them.
- Except for the Camera Raw adjustments, always sharpen last.
- When sharpening, always view your picture at 100% zoom to get a good look at how well the sharpening is working.
- Avoid over-sharpening, which creates halos and graininess and also takes away the sweet softness of your kids’ skin!
- The settings in the tutorials below are just starting points – you will probably have to adjust them somewhat to get the best results in your images.
