Oh, the Drama. Free Photoshop Elements Action.

by Erin on July 3, 2009

Download the Digital Photography for Moms ‘Oh, the Drama” free action for Photoshop and Photoshop Elements here:

Drama Screen Shot

Click here for instructions for installing actions in your version of Photoshop Elements.

This action works best on photos that have dramatic lighting.  Remember to run it on a flattened image.  A layer mask is included if you would like to mask out the drama from eyes or other areas.

Here are some examples of the action in use.  sunset before after

Thank you for sharing! And your instructions for installing actions worked perfectly! Most instructions are for windows and I have a mac. I’ve tried to install previously and have met with a great deal of frustration but you made it simple. Thanks!

Thank you for your wonderful blog. Could you please direct me to some simple, step-by-step directions for applying textures in PSE8? I have downloaded some textures from coffeeshop, however when I go to apply them it tells me to open the action. I have no idea what I am doing. Thanks!
