I added a new class series for registration. These new classes will be Jan. 21 and 23 at 7:30 PM CST. January evenings seemed to work for a slight majority of you. Lightroom workshop requests are filling up my inbox, so I know it’s time to get the next classes on the schedule.

Elements users, is there anyone waiting for an Elements workshop? I am teaching this workshop at Clickin’ Moms starting on March 11.
This is a great way to learn Elements, because you have lots of time to process the info and practice it. This go ’round, there is also a silent option for registration. You save money, but don’t receive feedback on homework and can’t post questions.
Registration will open for that class in February – I will let you know when, right here. I know that lots of you have expressed an interest in it, so I’m going to wait before offering another PSE class here on Texas Chicks. Post a comment below if you have any questions about it!

i took the last LR class Erin taught and it was AMAZING. i highly recommend anyone who is not a LR expert to take the class. i didn’t understand LR before her class, and now i use it WAY more than PSE. it makes organizing your photos a cinch and editing easy. she is an excellent teacher and answers, and encourages, questions (both during the class and after it’s over).
i would love to take the PSE class from Texas whenever it’s available. the CM class is a little out of my budget, but thanks for the notification.

Hi Lori. I don’t have videos of these classes. YET. I am working on them right now and will post as soon as they are finished!
I am not familiar with the webcam and wondering if internet speed is a factor? Mine internet is slower and I find that with videos there is much buffering time. Also, I’ve been waiting for this to come but have to be gone during this time. Is there any chance you’ll be doing another workshop soon? No chance of there being a CD coming on this is there??:-)) With work and schedules, it would sure be wonderful to have that option. Thanks Erin.
Hi Judy. I teach via GoToMeeting. You should check out there website to determine if your internet speed will work. And yes, I will offer other classes, soon. No CDs in the works, but I hope to have internet videos soon.
Will this LR class be similar to your one previous?

Hi I would love to register for Lightroom but since its already sold out can u start another class? I would be able to do it in February …… I just got Lightroom 4 for Christmas and am a new user! I would really love to take a class

Erin – I work and edit in Elements 11 right now (newbie). Is there an advantage to editing in LR instead of Elements, since this would be another purchase for me?
Debra, this would be a good article for you to read. Lots of people download the free trial from Adobe and then take my class to see how to use LR before purchasing.
