After writing my blog post yesterday about holding contests on blogs, I was surprised to read this post today about Promoting Your Blog with a Giveaway. It’s a concise list of tips about how to structure a contest.
This post appeared on ProBlogger.net which is a site run by Darren Rowse (also the creator of Digital Photography School). I subscribe to its feed and implement its ideas on my blogs at least once or twice a week.
He also wrote this book, which I read last year. It’s great foundation on designing blogs with an eye toward earning. Darren Rowse was one of the first people to turn his blogs into a full time job.
Not a bad goal, if you ask me!
