ColorInc Review & Contest – Boutique Packages

by Erin on November 16, 2009

Texas Chicks’ sponsor, ColorInc, is hosting another contest this week for you.  This contest is especially exciting because 10 of you will win.  Yes, that’s right, this contest will have  10 winners!

Keep reading for more details.Color Inc Boutique Box Review-3

The featured ColorInc product this week is their boutique packaging.  It’s designed for professional photographers, but keep reading even if you have no clients.  The gift potential of this package is limitless.

First off, this packaging will reinforce your professional image when delivered to clients full of stunning photographs printed at ColorInc’s high quality.  The box is sturdy and has no branding or logos of any kind.  It’s held together by a shiny silver rubber band with a flower attached for subtle embellishment.

Opening the box, you will see tissue paper wrapped neatly around your images.  Every bit as neatly as they fold that tissue paper at any fancy clothing store!

Color Inc Boutique Box Review-2

Under the tissue paper are your images.  If you’ve ordered images of more than one size, each size will be wrapped in an archival clear bag.  The boxes themselves, by the way, are acid free and PH neutral, for those of you concerned with image preservation.

Color Inc Boutique Box ReviewThe boxes come in four sophisticated colors.

Each ColorInc product that I’ve seen includes an “above and beyond” touch.  Something nice that I wouldn’t expect but really appreciate.  In this boutique packaging, it was a bit of sticky gum behind each bag of photos, so that they wouldn’t jostle and be damaged during shipping.

And here’s what I’m thinking for holiday presents:  a box full of your precious images would make a special and affordable present for family members.  I have relatives who are expert frame recyclers!  They always display lots of pictures in frames that match their decor perfectly.  And they rotate out the pictures in their favorite frames.  It’s much easier to afford photo printing than frame purchasing.  Frames are expensive!

So, have ColorInc print your images, package them in the boutique box and ship them for you!  That’s one easy, affordable and meaningful present checked off your list!

On Friday, 10 of you will win:

  • an 8 x 10
  • a 5 x 7
  • 8 wallets
  • in boutique packaging

All prints must be of the same image.

Wouldn’t it be cool if you could knock out 10 presents for free?  Wallets are great for friends and family who love your kids but don’t necessarily want an 8 x 10 of them.  And wallet frames are affordable at places like Target and Garden Ridge.

I really like that blue one a lot. The green my tween would love! Those acid free protectors are awesome, those aren’t super cheap either. I was pricing them at Hobby Lobby recently.

I have been toying with the idea of changing printing companies to ColorInc. JUST BECAUSE of their turquoise boutique packaging. It coordinates perfectly with my logo. Winning this would give me a great free sample of what I could then provide for my clients.

I absolutely love Color Inc! Every order I’ve placed with Color Inc has been fantastic. I love all the colors of their boutique packaging – my business logo is green, blue and brown. Of the colors they have available, I’m drawn more to the green. I’ve been meaning to try the boutique packaging, but haven’t gotten around to it yet. Would love to give it a try!
