Good to hear from you!

Rita’s actions will work in CS3. Installation is much easier.

Save them anywhere you want on your computer. I recommend creating a folder to keep all your actions in.

In CS3, open the Actions palette. At the top right corner of this palette is a button with 3 horizontal lines and a drop down arrow. Click this and select Load Actions. Navigate to where you saved your ATN file, select it, and the action will appear in your actions palette for playing. You don’t need the PNG, PSD or XML files in CS3.

Hey I need some help and I am not sure where to go. I am trying to download some of the free actions from coffee shop. They are downloading then after that, I’m stuck. I have no idea how to make them work, also I’m working in Photoshop CS3, not even sure if the actions WILL work. I have tried to find a way to contact Rita, but seem to be going in circles when locating a contact for her. I need instructions what to do after I’ve downloaded the action to my machine. Also will the action work on PS3? Thanks for any help you can give me!!! I love this site. Such a great resource and always very friendly folks on here.

You did a GREAT job! …and your son in his jammies absolutely IS something special:)
I agree, Magnetic lasso is sooo frustrating…try the regular Lasso Tool as an option or the Quick Selection…there’s so many ways to get selections, it’s trial & error! Thanks so much for sharing this photo ~ I love seeing this stuff!!

I just did a very “stoneage” method to get sort’ve the same picture. Nothing special, my son. Sitting in his jammies, looking a little put out. Can I just say I hate Magnetic lasso!
