Hey everyone! How is everybody? Well, I hate to be the bearer of bad news but, yes, I have all three books. Yes I and II are KILLER and III was/is VERY disappointing. There were maybe 10 pages / tips in there that weren't common sens or 'duh' - The other pages were, well, just fluff. It felt as if he were stretching very far to get content for the 3rd installment. It was a waste of money for the content, but I have the whole series which I guess, is appealing. I LOVE Kelby and all that he does, and is one amazing photographer and teacher. However, me being a 'self-taughter', it left me yearning for MORE, MORE, MORE - not because it was fabulous like I and II, but because it was lacking in substance TERRIBLY. If you read the reviews on Amazon. There are a alot of other folks who feel the same. But, others like it because it repeats some of the same info from the first two. I'm just bummed, I was hoping for diversity is all.

It's not as if it is going to be tossed -

I still would get them all. If paying 14$ for 10-15 tips is worth it to you then go for it. However, some of you may get more. I guess that is subjective too?

hRRRMf??

Peace to all of you!

Love,

I love Scott Kelby's books! Those three up there have been the most useful to me. Yay that you can get them at Costco. I wonder if Sam's Club would have them?

I won Book Three from Scott last year while participating in his Annual World Wide Photo Walk. And I just picked up volumes 1 and 3 at Costco last week. There are really easy to follow and fun to read.
He also made a DVD-ROM with 16 of the photo recipes from those very books. As a self-taught photographer, this was a great way to get that behind the scenes how the pros do it.
